Recently, Obama, on his Change.gov site

started = "Open for Questions" feature.

Notice that - Most of what O will do is
Fix Messes BuSh started.

Below are some of the top questions, and the answers that our transition team members have put together as part of the Open for Questions feature:
Q: "Will you lift the ban on Stem Cell research in your first 100 days in office?" James_M, Nashville, TN

A: President-elect Obama is a strong supporter of Federal funding for responsible stem cell research and he has pledged to reverse President Bush's restrictions.

Q: "What will you do to establish transparency and safeguards against waste with the rest of the Wall Street bailout money?" Diane, New Jersey

A: President-elect Barack Obama does not believe an economic crisis is an excuse for wasteful and unnecessary spending. As our economic team works with congressional leadership to put together a plan, we will put in place reforms to ensure that your money in invested well.
We will also bring Americans back into government by amending executive orders to ensure that communications about regulatory policymaking between persons outside government and all White House staff are disclosed to the public.

In addition
all appointees who lead the executive branch departments and rulemaking agencies will be required to conduct the significant business of the agency in public so that every citizen can see in person or watch on the Internet these debates.

Q: "What will you do to promote science and mathematics education to Elementary and Middle School students?" JasonWyatt, Raleigh, NC

A: Barack Obama and Joe Biden will put children first by investing in early childhood education, making sure our schools are adequately funded and led by high-quality teachers, and
reforming No Child Left Behind.

They will recruit math and science degree graduates to the teaching profession and will support efforts to help these teachers learn from professionals in the field. They will also work to ensure that all children have access to a strong science curriculum at all grade levels.

Q: "Will you consider legalizing marijuana so that the government can regulate it, tax it, put age limits on it, and create millions of new jobs and create a billion dollar industry right here in the U.S.?" S. Man, Denton

A: President-elect Obama is not in favor of the legalization of marijuana.

Q: "What will you do as President to restore the Constitutional protections that have been subverted by the Bush Administration and how will you ensure that our system of checks and balances is renewed?" Kari, Seattle

A: President-elect Obama is deeply committed to restoring the rule of law and respecting constitutional checks and balances. That is why he has pledged to review Bush Administration executive orders. President-elect Obama will also end the abuse of signing statements, and put an end to the politicization that has taken place within the Department of Justice and return that agency to its historic and apolitical mission of fair and impartial administration of justice.

ALL STUDENTS ARE TAUGHT BY "THE BEST TEACHER"

In this country - education is compulsory - learning is optional

THE WAY TO GIVE ALL STUDENTS THE BEST TRAINING IN ANY SUBJECT.
Why don't they take THE BEST Teacher for EACH subject, and Videotape their class.
Then, play the video in EVERY CLASS ROOM, for that subject, in the state, and on PBS.
As an example, let's use Freshman High School English.
Make Each Video 30 minutes.
The video would be played at the Beginning of each class
and the Remainder of the class time would be used for an
IN CLASS teacher to discuss the tape, and answer questions.

If a Student missed a class, they would be REQUIRED to watch those tapes.
That way EVERY student of Freshman English, in EVERY school in NV would get the same information.

CONDOM EDUCATION IS BACK

bama is REALLY A MAN OF THE PEOPLE
of, THE COMMON MAN.

Condoms Trump Abstinence in Obama Global AIDS Policy, Aide Says

By Jason Gale and John Lauerman

Nov. 10 (Bloomberg) -- President-elect Barack
Obama
will reverse
U.S. family planning and
AIDS prevention strategies that have
long linked global
funding to
anti-abortion and
abstinence education,
a public-health adviser said.

Public health policies of President George W. Bush's $45- billion PEPFAR program have brought AIDS drugs to almost 3 million people in poor countries such as Rwanda and Uganda, more than under any other president.

Still, requirements that health workers emphasize abstinence from sex and monogamy over condom use have set back sexually transmitted disease prevention and family planning globally,

said Susan F. Wood, co-chairman of Obama's advisory committee for women's health.

``We have been going in the wrong direction and we need to turn it around and be promoting prevention and family-planning services and strengthening public health,'' said Wood, a research professor at George Washington University School of Public Health in Washington.

Bush on his first day in office in January 2001 reinstated the so-called Mexico City Policy --
known as the global gag rule to critics -- that bars U.S. family-planning assistance for organizations that use funding from any other source to provide counseling and referral for abortion; lobby to make abortion legal or more available in their country; or perform abortions except in certain cases. Those exceptions are a threat to the woman's life, rape or incest.

Obama ``is committed to looking at all this and changing the policies so that
family-planning services --
both in the U.S. and the developing world --
reflect
what works,
what helps prevent unintended pregnancy,
reduce maternal and
infant mortality,
prevent the spread of disease,

EASY Fix for Soc Sec

Working to get ALL Campaining done on the FREE INternet
To get the $$$$ OUT of Politics.

We need a place where
candidates
will LISTEN
ANSWER QUESTIONS,
READ OUR SUGGESTIONS.

For Example -
the CAP on Soc Sec NEEDS to be ENDED
so that ALL pay THEIR SHARE.

The cap is NOW $100,000
the RICH pay ONLY up to $100,000
after that
they get a FREE RIDE.

WHY?

You and I pay into Soc Sec and Medicare
on EVERY cent we earn.

If the Rich Did
there would be enough $$$ to last forever.

Example -
Rush Lumbaugh pays ONLY $15,300
which is the TOP amount

He should be paying - $7,650,000.

HE Doesn't pay on EVERY Cent he earns.

WHY NOT.

That is one of the things Obama should be saying.

The McCain campaign has vigorously denied a report in the National Enquirer
magazine that the Republican's vice-presidential pick, Alaska Governor Sarah

Palin, has had an extramarital affair with her husband's business partner.

The story, which appeared just hours before Mrs Palin was due to address the Republican convention, was branded "scurrilous" by the chief strategist, Steve Schmidt. He said it was totally untrue.

"The smearing of the Palin family must end. The allegations contained on the cover of the National Enquirer insinuating that Governor Palin had an extramarital affair are categorically false. It is a vicious lie," said Mr Schmidt.

"The efforts of the media and tabloids to destroy this fine and accomplished public servant are a disgrace. The American people will reject it."

It follows revelations earlier in the week that Mrs Palin's 17-year-old daughter, Bristol, was five months pregnant and planned to marry the father Levi Johnston and have the baby.

The magazine has a reputation for digging dirt on politicians' lives.

It insisted that Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards was having an extramarital affair and had had a child with his lover, while his wife was ill with breast cancer.

The allegations were denied for months until the National Enquirer finally published photos of the duo meeting in a hotel in Los Angeles.

"In such a world,

judges would draw their salaries from the
same place as
cops and
prosecutors, and --

instead of granting us a presumption of innocence --

would refuse to even see you on your scheduled court date,

siding with cops who lurk in ambush
or even robot "red light" cameras,

finding citizens guilty of traffic and

other "minor" infractions

(on nothing more than a government agent's
or even a robot's word)
99 percent of the time,
fattening their courthouse coffers and
helping pay their own salaries with the resulting river of revenue.

All pretty far-fetched, eh?"

WHAT THAT MEANS IS

Govt workers DON'T DESERVE TO BE PAID

Vin HATES COPS, JUDGES, Prosecuters

Cops SHOULD NOT Ticket traffic Violators

Red Light Cameras

2008 Open Enrollment Data Shows That 92.7 Percent of Wal-Mart Associates Now Have Health Coverage
PR Newswire - Number of uninsured associates drops by more than 20 percent
January 22, 2008

…with 690,970 associates -- and more than 1.1 million associates and dependants in total -- now covered by Wal-Mart's plans

The Hewitt Benefit Index(R), conducted by Hewitt Associates, a benefits consulting firm – “noted that Wal-Mart's broad eligibility ranks it among the highest in its comparative set of 18 large retailers and grocers. Wal-Mart scored 113.8 on health benefits, as compared to the average retail score of 100.

The company added more personalized choices, lower deductibles, pre-deductible health care credits and a $4 co-pay for more than 2,000 covered generic prescriptions, among other changes. As in previous years, children of every associate -- both full-time and part time -- qualify for health insurance when the parent qualifies.

Wal-Mart also took extra steps to get associates health coverage and enrollment information, including an "Enrollment Made Easy" DVD mailed to every associate's home. Associates could also go online to access materials and enrollment forms, and use a specially designed web-based tool that helped them evaluate the coverage that best meets their needs.”
